About the setup fee
The setup fee covers a full onboarding engagement — installation, catalog enrichment, metafield configuration, Book Details Widget placement, and CDF Lite account setup with Ingram. The subscription clock starts when your store is fully operational, not at the point of payment.
Omnichannel Pro¶
For independent bookshops that need the full workflow — catalog, fulfillment, and Pubnet EDI purchasing.

Additional POS locations¶
Every plan includes one physical POS location connected to your Shopify store. This covers the typical setup of a single brick-and-mortar store selling online through Shopify.
If your Shopify store has more than one physical POS location, each additional location is charged at $100 / month per location.
This is because Emersoft Books is an Ingram data reseller, and under Ingram's licensing terms, each physical store location accessing the catalog data is treated as a separate account — regardless of whether those locations share a single Shopify instance. The additional charge reflects this per-location cost that Ingram applies.
If you have multiple POS locations, get in touch before subscribing so the Emersoft team can confirm the correct total for your setup.
