Welcome to Emersoft Books¶
Emersoft Books connects your Shopify store to the book distributor available in your region, automated order fulfillment, and Pubnet EDI purchasing — all from inside Shopify Admin.
US customers currently use Ingram Content Group®; UK customers currently use Gardners. Import books, fulfill customer orders automatically, and submit purchase orders to publishers without leaving Shopify.
Regional provider availability
Your provider is based on your Emersoft Books account or store region, not an order's delivery address: US customers use Ingram; UK customers use Gardners. Access to both providers from one store is not available yet.
What you can do¶

Search & Import
Browse the catalog available for your store and import titles as fully-populated products — cover image, description, ISBN, price, and metadata included.

Automated Fulfillment
Eligible customer orders are automatically dispatched to your regional provider after checkout. Tracking and status sync back to Shopify.

Bulk Import by ISBN
Upload a CSV of ISBNs to create new products, update existing ones with distributor data, or apply inventory to locations — all in a resumable background job.

Purchase Orders (Pubnet EDI)
Create and submit purchase orders to publishers and distributors via Pubnet EDI directly from Shopify. Receive acknowledgments and track shipments.
