Ingram Fulfillment

Emersoft Books automatically fulfills customer orders for Ingram-stocked titles through Ingram's Consumer Direct Fulfillment (CDF Lite) service. When a customer checks out, the app dispatches the order to Ingram — Ingram picks, packs, and ships directly to the customer. Tracking information syncs back to the Shopify order automatically.

You do not need to take any action on fulfilled orders.

How it works

  1. A customer places an order on your Shopify store for a book that was imported from Ingram.
  2. Emersoft Books detects the order and dispatches a fulfillment request to Ingram CDF Lite.
  3. Ingram processes the order and ships it directly to your customer.
  4. Tracking information and shipping status sync back to the Shopify order in real time.
  5. Shopify notifies the customer with tracking details (using your store's standard notification settings).
